A day of showjumping is to be held at East Park next month.
The free event, organised by the northern area of the British Show Jumping Association, will start at 9am on August 15 with a full programme of classes.
These include children riding small ponies, to some of the top senior riders in the country competing for big prize money.
Sharon Cawood, of the British Show Jumping Association, said: “The association is excited about bringing show jumping back into the heart of Hull and we hope enthusiasts as well as those who have never seen it before will come along to enjoy the day bringing plenty of friends and family with them.”

The Hull Motor Show is an annual event which has proved hugely popular to residents from across East Yorkshire.
The event includes classic cars, modified motors, bouncy castles, custom bikes, trucks, scooters and much more.
It takes place at East Park on August 28 from 10am to 5pm.
An event to encourage families to play together is taking place next month.
Playday has been organised by Hull Creative Play Network in Partnership with Hull City Council and NHS Hull.
Families are invited to go along to Queen Victoria Square on August 3 to join an active fun day of play-based activities, encouraging families to enjoy active leisure time together.
Included as part of the day are Sam’s Safari, a rock climbing wall, face painting, Scrapstore workshops, magician, zorbing, sensory play and more.
